In today’s SurveySpot Review we take a look at another paid online survey company. Paid Surveys have become increasingly popular for people trying to make some extra money online.
Before we go any further I want to mention that I am in no way affiliated with SurveySpot and I do not receive any commission or payments from them so this review is unbiased.
With that out of the way lets proceed
What its All About
- Company: Survey Spot
- URL: Surveyspot.com
- Price: Free
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5
SurveySpot is an online opportunity that uses the paid survey model. Similar to Opinion Oupost, in the sense that you perform simple tasks online in exchange for payment.
Research companies use services like SurveySpot to gather information from potential consumers. SurveySpot gets paid from these companies and in turn gives you a small percentage.
How Does it Work?
To answer the above question “How Does Survey Spot Work?” put simple it is much like all other Online Survey companies, People like you and I register for an account on the website. Hand over our details and wait to be emailed from Surveyspot themselves.
Once we receive an email informing us that we have a survey to complete we then log in to our account and complete the task.
If we complete the survey and the company is happy we then receive our payment. Every online task completed by us earns us money.
Is It a Scam? The Real Truth..
This is always a common question. Especially within the Internet Marketing industry. People are generally very skeptical with making money online. Even more so when handing money out over the internet.
Fair enough too. With the amount of identity theft and fraud that’s happening around the world it pays to be diligent.
So to tell you the truth about SurveySpot and if its a scam or legit I would answer the latter.
Why is SurveySpot Legit in my opinion?
Because there are people out there making money. Not buy the big house on the hill kind of money, but definitely income. It is definitely not some pyramid scheme.
You could make money on your own without recruiting anyone and they do pay people for the work they do.
How much they pay you is another thing. (you definitely wont get rich doing this)
The Top Problems & Complaints
The top Survey spot problems and complaints are actually those that are shared among most other paid survey companies.
The amount you get paid is very small. You could work all day and be lucky to make $10. This is far from ideal. I guess if you dont value your time or you dont aspire to buying that new iphone you could find this appealing..
But lets get real..
You want more than just spare change right? Of course you do otherwise you wouldnt be doing all this research right?
Im guessing you want to make more than just a couple bucks. I know I sure do.
Another common SurveySpot Complaint is the fact that you don’t always qualify to complete the survey. Now the survey needs to be completed before you get paid.
The problem is that you won’t know if you qualify or not until you have completed the “application form”. This application form can take up 10 minutes of your time.
If you’re lucky and you qualify YAY! Then you need to spend another 10-15 minutes doing the survey. Now you have been working for 20 – 25 minutes and you have made…
A whopping big 20 cents!
This is truly sad! If things go well and you receive lots of surveys to complete (unlikely) and you qualify for all of them (very unlikely) and they take around 10 – 15 minutes each (hopefully) you could potentially earn $1 an hour!
Can You Make Money?
Well technically yes you can make money with Survey Spot.
How much money is really dependent on how much time you have to waste and if you like to work for pittance.
If you were going to put in an hour each day, every day of the week you could maybe (if everything runs perfectly) make $5 – $10. Realistically you will be lucky to make $10 per month.
Is this a good use of your time?
No, not by a long shot.
So Here Is What I Recommend
I make my money from affiliate marketing. I build simple websites that sell other companies products for commission. Once these sites are setup they just continue to make money.
- No Surveys
- No Qualifying
- No Recruiting
- No Problem
