Welcome to our Paid Surveys Etc Review. Where we take a good look at how this panel works, how the money is made, the common complaints others have and if you should spend your time doing it.
What Is This Panel About?
- Company: Paid Surveys Etc
- URL: http://paidsurveysetc.com
- Price: N/A
- Rating: 1 out of 5
Paid Surveys Etc or now known as The Paid Survey Authority was founded by Michelle McAllister. The site serves as a portal for businesses looking for people who will answer their marketing research surveys and questionnaires.
However, there are certain issues with how the company makes empty promises to its members. Some people even consider them a scam because of how they were promised to get generous compensations upon completing surveys, only to get disappointed once they have signed up
How Does it Work?
Paidsurveysetc.com was established to link large multinational corporations to people who are willing to share their opinions about various products and services.
It acts as an intermediary for both parties. It is true that people who complete surveys will earn money in return for their time.
Large companies are willing to pay for the data from the panelists to study consumer behavior. But if you will be dealing with a middleman market research company such as this one, you can actually locate the companies on your own.
Just use your favorite search engine and you will likely find the companies in Paid Surveys Etc’s list.
Can You Make Money With Surveys?
When you find Paid Surveys Etc research site for the first time, you might fall for their claims of getting the top paying, large corporations with the people who are willing to complete surveys and questionnaires.
The market research company also promised paying members that they can enjoy huge rewards after filling out surveys.
However, they are said to be only making exaggerated promises by getting companies that can actually be found when you do an online search on your own.
They are good at luring members with promises of money that cannot be achieved after taking surveys at the site. You might get a check for fifty cents to a few dollars from different business partners.
If you are expecting to make as much money as the amounts written on the checks posted on the website, you will be hugely disappointed.
What you can expect though is paying a monthly fee to the survey site without fail. There are even instances when the company will ask you to review third party offers, which usually takes thirty minutes, only to end up not getting any surveys done because you don’t qualify for any of them.
What’s worse is that many of these surveys only cost a few cents, so you will basically wasting your time over a few cents, which you can’t even get.
Is This a Scam?
If you are asking, “Is Paid Surveys Etc legit?” it could be, but given the monthly membership fee that they charge for a list of businesses that can be easily found online, it might not be the best survey site for you.
Among the most common Paid Surveys Etc complaints is the lack of guarantee that you can complete a survey. You have to qualify for a specific demographic profile specified by the corporations participating on the site before you can fill out a survey.
Otherwise, your options become limited. You have to fit the profile to at least get a chance to complete a survey and earn money from the businesses themselves.
Is It Worth it?
The underlying question about the abundant amounts of paid survey sites out there still remains the same. Is Paid Surveys ETC Worth it?
When coming to a conclusion I always base it of these following principals:
- Can I really make money doing it
- How much can I possible make
- Can I scale my income up
- Is there a history of negativity associated with the company
While most of the points have already been addressed in this article I just want to touch base one particular point that is very important to me and what I wish to achieve.
Is This Scale-able?
Unfortunately no its not. You are limited by the hours and the day. There is no way to put this on any kind of automation or delegation. This really is the only way to make decent money.
This is the reason why I do affiliate marketing. I build websites that promote other companies products for commission. This allows me to make money while I sleep, eat, or have fun.

hmmm…. sounds VERY dodgy. I signed up for a similar survey site once (can’t remember what it was called)… and like you mention here, I ‘didn’t qualify’ more often than not – and when I did qualify and they ‘allowed’ me some surveys to do, I made a few cents at best!
While I’m sure there are plenty of legit survey sites out there, it is certainly not a way to earn a living…
Ironically enough though – I actually use the online business platform you recommend here! And I can 100% vouch for it – truly awesome and the real deal for learning how to make a decent income online.
Great review. I have always wondered if any of the paid survey sites were legit. I joined one several years ago and made a few bucks from them. But for the time you had to put in taking them, your hourly rate was minimal. Paid Surveys Etc doesn’t sound like anything I will be joining, sounds similar to my experience with the one I joined years ago. Thanks for the review, it clarified a few things. Jeffrey
