Welcome to our comprehensive 2016 Market America Review where we take a look at a rather popular MLM or network marketing company. If you are looking for ways to make money with this opportunity then you will enjoy this read.
What Is It About?
- Company: Market America
- URL: www.marketamerica.com
- Price: $130 Setup fee. $20 monthly fee
- Rating: 2 out of 5
Back in 1992, JR Ridinger started Market America in North Carolina and has since been able to explore other regions of the United States. He has also been able to bring the business to countries around the world like Canada and Austria plus Asia through Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Working under the slogan “America’s Most Powerful Business Opportunity” the company has been able to sell over three billion dollars of varied retail Market America products.
These range from Market America cosmetics, Market America Acne Care, Market America skin care, Market America personal care and Isotonix Market America, just to name a few.
Those who are part of the team of distributors earn through commissions. Based on statistics, active team members make around 1 to 2 billion dollars.
To this day, Jim Winkler Market America President, places confidence and high regard to this system of retail marketing of over 35 million services and product offerings.
He has been helping more and more people to start up their own business opportunities and make a considerable amount of money.
How Does It Work?
The Market America Business Plan follows the Multi-Level Marketing scheme wherein members are able to earn money through selling products and services.
At the same time money is also gained through getting other people to sign up and start selling as well, and of course the same goes down the line.
In some Market America Review pages online, membership is explained through a one-time fee of $130. Each month members pay $20 plus a yearly fee of $99.95.
After this initial setup, access is now given to over 35 million products and services. Plus the company also offers members substantial assistance through itransact Market America.
Members who also plan to increase their earnings can opt to become a distributor too, through investing on $500 to $1,100 worth of products.
Can You Make Money?
With the Market America Compensation Plan, members earn in two different ways. The first is through sponsoring two distributors through their so-called Business Development Centers.
As members manage their sponsored distributors, they get to earn when $3,600 is reached and there are no limits as to how many of these Business Development Centers can be managed by each member.
The more development centers handled, the more money is generated and earned. The second way to earn money is through cash back from those who purchase products and services from members, plus from members they have recruited.
Is It A Scam or Legit?
Those who claim Market America as a scam cannot be blamed. This is mainly because of the large amount of investment paid upfront to be a member and with very little or no return of investment as is expected by most.
Another point discussed in some of the Market America Complaints is the difficulty of getting other people to join the system.
Many who seek an opportunity to make money get discouraged when they learn about the different Market America Scam insights. Also among the Market America Complaints is the price range of the products and services offered as most are expensive compared to others found in the market.
Is It Worth It?
I am not entirely sure it is worth it to be honest. It is a rather expensive way to start making money. Keeping in mind that you have to spend money to make money, but I feel there are much easier ways to make some money and have total control over the amount you make.

It’s not an MLM so can u please reeval your approach to this? It’s a franchise and Daymond John backs it. Please reeval, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The whole structure is based on affiliate marketing, for things you buy everyday. It’s genius, I mean where else can you buy a franchise for $129?
Hey Karin?
Would you be so kind as to share their compensation plan?I believe that anything that uses levels of recruitment fits within the MLM or network marketing business model. If you could share something that says otherwise I would be more than happy to change my post.
