In this post we take a look at the latest update by internet marketer George Montagu Brown. If you have been in the industry for a while then you might of heard about this guy.
There had definitely been some negative points of view about this guy but for the sake of our readers here at TLF we decided to do a review on Google Sniper 3.0.
What is It All About?
Google sniper is a training system that teaches you how to make money online by creating simple websites that sell affiliate products.
Inside of this system you will be taught how to:
- Find a niche
- Find an affiliate program
- Buy hosting and install wordpress
- Write content for your site
- Promote your site to generate traffic [WARNING]
The warning is on how he wants you to promote your site. A lot of it is what I call unethical marketing and can be illegal in some places.
He also encourages “spammy” techniques of promotion which may work for a short time but they will always come to an end and in some cases people have had their social accounts banned because of it.
His ranking strategy uses methods such as:
- Exact Match Domain Names
- Low Competition Keywords
- Building Micro Niche One Page Sites
Now these have worked and to some extent still work today but since the date of the initial Google Sniper release which was 2009, things have changed dramatically. This is what we see as a problem with this system. The information is quite outdated.
Now some of the information is sound and there is some value in there but the methods they teach to rank your website in google, which, ultimately is the goal here, but some techniques he teaches aren’t as effective now.
Does It Work?
If you are very new to internet marketing and didnt have a clue on how to create a website and monetize it then you could find value in this product.
What Google Sniper fails to take in to consideration is the fact the googles ranking algorithm has changed so much with recent updates such as panda and penguin.
So will this work?
You may even be able to make some kind of money from what you learn but to tell you the truth, there is better training and communities out there that can help you make money online.
I will give him one bit of kudos though, his training site is well laid out and easy to navigate.
So I guess in theory Google Sniper does work but the real question here is will it work for you?
Is It a Scam or Legit?
Well Google Sniper is not a scam because you do get something for your money. There is some value inside but for the most part it is out dated.
There is some tricky up-sells and if your not careful when purchasing you will end up paying a monthly recurring fee so you will need to be on your game when going through the purchasing process.
Is this the best way to make money online? No, definitely not. I can think of much better ways to get the same information but of far superior quality.
Common Complaints
Doing a quick google search will reveal quite a few google sniper complaints. These complaints are generally around the following topics:
- Lack of support after purchase
- The methods aren’t up to date
- The examples he shows in his training videos are outdated
- The deceptive, hidden monthly subscription
- The methods he teaches for ranking will actually hurt your site now because of the updates.
- He pushes really hard for you to sell this system to friends and family.
Summary
If you are new to internet marketing then there is something in here for you. You will learn some basis skills such as:
- How to build a website
- Find a niche
- Find an affiliate program.
All the basics of getting started.
But you will eventually run in to trouble because of the reason below:
When it comes to driving much needed traffic you will begin to struggle because the methods they teach in this product are outdated.
Then there is the cost
For what you get I just don’t think its worth it. These are the reasons why I dont recommend this program.
