Have you heard about the Clear Voice Surveys Scam? Perhaps you are wondering if this is true or not? Then you will be glad you have found this article because we are going to look inside this paid survey company and see if its legit or a complete waste of time.
What is It All About?
- Company: Clear Voice Surveys
- URL: www.ClearVoiceSurveys.com
- Price: Free
- Rating: 1 out of 5
This is another survey panel that is owned by Clear Voice Research LLC, formerly known as PCHOnlineSurveys, is based in Denver, Colorado. This particular survey panel is not very well heard of because they don’t do a lot of advertising. This is neither a good or bad thing. This is just the way the prefer to do business.
Clear Voice Surveys has a working partnership with a number of top research firms around the US. It’s clients come from a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, retail and technology.
How Does It Work?
Much like the other survey companies you are required to sign up to make money. You will need an active email account because they will want to send you notifications of surveys for you to complete.
Upon sign up you will automatically be entered into a sweepstake which can earn you anywhere between $1 – $20.
In order to do a paid survey you will need to qualify. This involves filling out a form or questionnaire talking about your current situation and spending habits. Expect to spend around 10 minutes doing this.
A big plus for Clear Voice Surveys is that if you start an online survey that you don’t qualify for you will can be rewarded 10 cents. This is a slight improvement over similar survey panels like Opinion Outpost and Inbox Dollars who pay you zip zilch nada if you fail to qualify.
If you do manage to qualify you will then get access to the actual survey which you can generally complete in around 10 – 15 minutes.
Can You Make Money?
Technically you can but the amount can and will vary. Each survey you participate in will net you between $1 – $20. Sounds easy enough right? So all you need to do is crack out 5x $20 surveys a day and you’re golden!
Wrong think again..
$20 surveys will be very rare. In fact you will find that 90% of people wont qualify to participate in the survey. No loss if you don’t qualify because you will still be rewarded that 10 cents right?
I guess that 10 cents is better than nothing. I mean you only just spent 20 – 25 minutes completing the application and survey to net a big fat 10 cents. This means at the very least you could potentially make around 30 cents per hour?
Doesn’t really sound that great when you put it like that.
Unlike other survey panels Clear Voice Surveys does not reward you in any way for referring other people to join. How sad is that!
Minimum pay out is at least $10 in your Clear Voice Surveys account. Not the highest threshold which is good. The trouble is the payment options are limited to:
- Amazon Gift Certificates
- Dining Dough Gift Certificates
Is It Legit or a Scam?
Clear Voice Surveys is not a scam. They will pay you eventually using the methods mentioned above. Some Clear Voice Surveys members have complained about failing to qualify for surveys repeatedly.
There has also been complaints about a recent change in the way the pay you saying that you now need to supply your phone number so they can text a code so you can redeem your reward. Some also say that the codes never arrive and CV Surveys just don’t answer their phones.
Is It Worth It?
In summary yes you could possibly earn maybe $20 per month but you will exchange a lot of your time trying to qualify for a survey that could potentially pay you $1, Then the reality sets in after spend an entire day failing to qualify and walk away with $1.
Are online surveys worth your time? My personal view is that they are not because you can never really guarantee that you will be able to qualify for the survey itself.
There is also no way to automate the process. This means you can’t scale your income to something substantial.
The best way I have found to make money online, especially if you are just starting out is by doing affiliate marketing. Essentially I sell other companies products from a simple website to make a commission.
Once the website is setup it will continue to work. Just a small amount of maintenance each month. I just continue to receive emails reminding me that I have commission due and the company then pays me directly.
