The Truth About Wealthy Affiliate

If you want the insider information on Wealthy Affiliate then you have come to the right place. Knowledge is power and I want you to gain sufficient knowledge so you can make the right decision. Here you will learn the Truth About Wealthy Affiliate, whether its a rip off and if there are any success stories.

This system has been around for a few years now and it has helped many people make their first money online. No company is without their haters so make sure you have a look at both sides of the story.

Look at the big picture. Ask yourself this:

  • What are you looking for in an online business opportunity?
  • What are your financial goals?
  • How much time and money are you able to commit?
  • Why are you searching for ways to make money online?
  • What kind of time frame have you set for success?

If you know a little more about what YOU want then you can look at how any business can help you get there. It helps if you make a checklist of sorts that you refer to every time you look at an opportunity.

Is this Opportunity Legit?

The Truth about Wealthy Affiliate

There are countless success stories on the internet of normal people like you and I making their first real money online. Some people are now full time marketers and no longer work the 9 – 5 and others are just making extra cash each month.

Have you been scammed before?

I have. Simply put it sucks! I felt like my faith in humanity was destroyed. Talk about feeling bitter and twisted! I won’t go in to detail now with a big old “name and shame” but what I will tell you is this. It is OK to be cautious.

In fact I think it is in our best interest to be suspect of opportunities. Sometimes however I think we can go overboard and miss out on opportunities. I always seemed to make my biggest mistakes when I was desperate. Desperation came when I was:

  • Just hungry too make money (too eager)
  • Lost direction (and focus)
  • Frustrated because nothing worked
  • Pressure from peers to “get a real job”
  • Self doubt

Have you ever felt like this?

My Scam Radar Level = Strong

You see, you and I have more than likely traveled similar roads. When I first came across this university I was already hardened to “hypey” sales pitches. I knew all about this kind of selling so I wasn’t going to fall for that anymore.

The approach Wealthy Affiliate had was completely different. There was no big pitches. The website was straight forward and they were offering a free 7 day full access (you can check that out here).

This got me interested so I took the free trial and immersed myself in the training for 7 days straight (I still maintained basic hygienic standards lol). Once on the “inside” I found it to be great. Training, support, free websites, social networking, what more would you want?

Is Wealthy Affiliate a Rip Off?

Definitely no rip off here. They give you all the tools necessary to build an online business that can and will make you money while you sleep. It does not claim to make you rich over night and it does not claim to be “an easy push button system”. No hype, no NLP just pure content designed to help you succeed.

Wealthy Affiliate Success Stories

With any company that has been around for 10+ years it is safe to assume there would be some level of success within the system.

First off, how do YOU measure success?

If it means living the play boy lifestyle similar to Dan Bilzerian then I’m not sure many people will find that level of success lol. Would you want that level of success?

Not for me. It doesn’t fit in well with my fatherly persona. My wife wouldn’t approve me being surround by models and I would no longer be my daughters hero.. I am a humble fool with simple needs. Food, clothing, shelter and companionship. Nothing too sappy.

It seems the older I have become the more susceptible I am to leaking from around the eyes when kind gestures are made.. I think people are rubbing their hands with freshly cut onions in hopes tosabotage my manliness.

To Measure Success in Your Terms

If you are anything like me then you are searching for:

  • Become Time Rich – Have the time to do what I like!
  • Be Location Independent – Travel where I like and still make money
  • Be Financially Secure – Not worry about where the money is coming from. “Living pay check to pay check”.
  • Be able to help others succeed – Sharing is Caring!

If I can (and I will) achieve all the above then I will consider myself Successful. But with any goals we place in front of us, this list will evolve. Comment below what success would be for you!

It depends on how you want to use the system.

First and foremost this is a training program that helps people make money online through affiliate marketing. They train you how to do everything from purchasing your first domain right to paying for advertising.

So using the training inside will help have a website up in no time, selling products from affiliate programs such as:

You can sell any product you can imagine from information on coffee enemas right through to making commission from LED TV’s. There really is no limits. If someone is selling it then you can find a way to make commission from it.

They also teach you how to make money from Adsense. Let’s say you get your website up and running and it has 5 thousand visitors per month. You can put up small advertisement boxes on your website that will earn you money when someone clicks on it.

You can also promote WA as a training system for affiliate marketers looking to get started.

If you are wondering how does wealthy affiliate pay you then rest assured they pay automatically in to your paypal account. This is no fuss and its fantastic receiving emails telling you that you have just made commission.

    Hey Beau.

    Thank you.

As a fellow internet marketer, I have to say that I learned a lot from reading your post… Not necessarily the content itself, I am a member and already know that Wealthy Affiliate is leaps and bounds ahead of anything I have come across…

but by the amount of rapport I could feel your post building the more that I read through it.

I come from a very similar background and can really relate to what you are saying… from the NLP to being hardened against any type of online opportunity.

Wealthy Affiliate is definitely not hyped up and I guess this is why I eventually only signed up after reading about it 50 times and being completely desperate to find something that was not a scam…

So I guess some of me best mistakes are also made when I am desperate 😉

Anyway, keep up the awesome work.

    Marc Parsons.

PS, “(you can check that out here)” is missing the link… not sure if you are waiting for SERP before adding it, but a friendly reminder anyway 😉

    Hi Beau.
I really loved reading this article on Wealthy Affiliate. It is quirky and you have added the human element to it so that I can really relate to what you were thinking and why you made a decision to try this company out, even after being scammed. It is something very difficult to do, to get back up, dust yourself off and keep moving forward. It certainly sounds like you are enjoying yourself doing what you do. This article sure makes a person want to just go ahead and try the course for free for 7 days. Why wouldn’t you? There is nothing to lose in trying when there is nothing to force you to stay. Although I’m sure anyone who tried it, would stay out of choice.
    I love your writing style

Great and very accurate post about Wealthy Affiliate! I have been a member for over 4 months now and I definitely concur with your very positive review of this program! Wealthy Affiliate is the best program out there when it comes to building an online business from scratch and doing it in a very successful manner.

Wealthy Affiliate is also a diamond among masses of trash, by this I mean it is one of the few programs out there that is not a scam. This program will give you everything you need to build a successful business online, all that you have to do is put in the work and effort to make that business manifest into reality!

Thank you for this great and very accurate review! I hope you find much success with Wealthy Affiliate and find great success with your business goals! 🙂
